Hao ZHANG is supervised under Prof.

and is a member of NUS
Database System Research Group.
His research interests include
in-memory database systems,
database system architectures,
performance issues,
and distributed database systems.
He has been working on the in-memory database system -
MemepiC
since 2012,
with focus on the performance issues inherited from the traditional database architecture,
new challenges on in-memory database systems,
and utilization of newly-emerged hardware (e.g., RDMA, HTM, NUMA, NVRAM).
He published several papers on top journals and conferences, such as VLDB, ICDE, TKDE,
and he is also a reviewer of TKDE and the journal of Big Data Research.
